Board of Directors
In Florida, the HOA Board of Directors is a group of homeowners responsible for the financial, operational, and legal management of a homeowner's association. Their primary duties include maintaining common areas, enforcing the association's governing documents (bylaws, CC&Rs), managing the budget and finances, and ensuring compliance with Florida law. The board's effectiveness is crucial for preserving property values, enhancing the community's quality of life, and upholding standards for all residents.
Sandy Creek Airpark has 5 director positions. Three board seats are voted for in 2025 for three years. Two board seats are voted for in 2026, and none in 2027, and repeat every three years.

Director Training
Directors elected or appointed on or after July 1, 2024, must complete a 4-hour board member certification course within 90 days of their election or appointment.
Directors in place before July 1, 2024, have until June 30, 2028, to complete the initial certification if they served continuously.
The directors currently required to take the training are Robert Henry, Connie Coy, Lynn Smith, and Brian McKinney.
Rob Henry completed the training on 28 July 2025, having been appointed to the board on 22 July 2025.
Connie Coy completed the training on 20 October 2025, having been appointed to the board on 14 October 2025.
